Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Mirrocle iOS application (the "App"), operated by [YOUR LEGAL NAME OR COMPANY] ("we", "us", "our").

By creating an account or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or 16 in the EU) to use Mirrocle. By using the App, you confirm you meet this requirement and that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

2. Your account

You are responsible for the security of your account credentials.
You agree to provide accurate information when signing up.
You may not share your account with anyone else.
You may delete your account at any time from the Profile screen.

3. What Mirrocle is — and what it isn't

Mirrocle is a wellness and self-affirmation app. It plays personalized audio compliments while you look at yourself in a live camera view.

Mirrocle is not:

A medical device
A substitute for therapy, counseling, or professional mental-health care
A diagnostic tool
An emergency service

If you are experiencing a mental-health crisis, please contact a qualified professional or your local crisis line.

4. Subscriptions, payment, and auto-renewal

4.1 Subscription terms

Mirrocle offers an auto-renewing subscription that unlocks all features:

Title: Mirrocle Premium
Length: 1 month or 1 year
Price: $4.99/month or $29.99/year (subject to your local App Store pricing)
Free trial: 7-day free trial available on the annual plan; you will not be charged until the trial ends.

4.2 Auto-renewal

Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the cost of the chosen package.
You can manage and cancel subscriptions by going to your Account Settings in the App Store after purchase.
Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription.

4.3 Refunds

All purchases are processed by Apple. Refund requests are handled by Apple under their standard policies. Visit https://reportaproblem.apple.com to request a refund.

We do not separately issue refunds for App Store purchases.

5. License and acceptable use

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial use.

You agree not to:

Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the App
Copy, modify, or create derivative works of the App or its content
Use the App in any way that violates law or these Terms
Attempt to access another user's account
Interfere with the App's normal operation, security, or infrastructure
Use the App to harass, harm, or impersonate anyone

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

6. Content

The compliments, audio, designs, code, and trademarks within the App are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by copyright and other intellectual-property laws.

You may not reproduce, redistribute, or commercially use any of the App's content without our written permission.

7. Disclaimers

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that compliments will produce any specific emotional or psychological outcome. Results vary by person.

8. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSS OF DATA, REVENUE, OR PROFITS, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP — EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR USD $50, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

Some jurisdictions do not allow these limitations, so portions may not apply to you.

9. Termination

You may stop using and delete the App at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or use the App in a way that harms us, other users, or third parties.

Upon termination, your right to use the App ends immediately. Sections that by their nature should survive (Sections 7, 8, 10, 11) will survive.

10. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of [YOUR JURISDICTION], without regard to conflicts-of-law principles.

Any dispute will be resolved in the courts of [YOUR JURISDICTION], unless local consumer-protection law gives you the right to bring a claim where you live.

11. Apple-specific terms

You and we acknowledge that:

These Terms are between you and us, not Apple.
Apple is not responsible for the App or its content.
Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the App.
If the App fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple may refund the purchase price; to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation.
Apple is not responsible for addressing claims related to the App or your possession or use of it.
Apple is not responsible for third-party intellectual-property claims related to the App.
Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date will reflect the most recent change. If changes are material, we'll notify you in-app or by email. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the new Terms.
